F5 Stupid

I am so Fu#$ing tired of telling people to refresh their browsers! It's like people forgot how to think and problem solve! I'm not expecting people to be MCSE's but just know the basic functions of your computer to do your God D@mn Job!

The older I get (Only 27) The more I hate people! Well not you...'cuz your cool and are reading my rants so you must be alright! :)

Sucky Decisions

Here is a story about my boss, lets call him Frank. He's not rude, mean or sucky, actually he's a really great person to work for. It's just sometimes I think he makes really sucky decisions, or non at all. That is how this rant ended up in this blog.

Heres the story:
I work for a small company where "Frank" is the owner, he sits on decisions FOREVER. Never acting on anything! Trying to get him to commit to something, or move in a new or different direction is like trying to get Mt. Everest to move in a new or different direction...aint going to happen!

There are always new ideas, projects, or income possibilities coming in either from employee ideas or possible clients. He will listen to your ideas and even if he feels it is a good idea he still does not act on it! HOW FRUSTRATING IS THAT!? So I have started to not share my ideas, and using them for my own personal gain, as they will never see the light of day here anyways.

"Frank" seems to be stuck in a rut where he does not want to get out. He seems to want to stay with the same 'ol and just ride it out until he is ready to retire. Even though he says he wants to grow in all these areas, I dont believe it because his actions speak differently.

The latest thing was he passed up on at least a $16,000 project because he never called the prospect back. He said he did not call him back because he "wants to decided what areas to focus on in the coming year." HOW ABOUT MAKING MONEY!!!! GOD! I understand about being cautious and having a plan but in todays market you have to act quickly! Not "Frank".

I ended up giving the lead to a friend of mine and he is close to having the contract signed. Good going "Frank"!

THAT JUST PISSES ME OFF!!!
